ईश्वर उवाच । आदित्यस्त्वब्रवीच्छायां किमर्थं तनयेषु वै । तुल्येष्वप्यधिकः स्नेह एकत्र क्रियते त्वया

īśvara uvāca | ādityastvabravīcchāyāṃ kimarthaṃ tanayeṣu vai | tulyeṣvapyadhikaḥ sneha ekatra kriyate tvayā

ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ആദിത്യൻ ഛായയോട് പറഞ്ഞു: ‘മക്കൾ എല്ലാവരും തുല്യരായിരിക്കെ, നീ ഒരുവനോടേ അധിക സ്നേഹം എന്തുകൊണ്ട് കാണിക്കുന്നു?’
