यम उवाच । तातैतन्महदाश्चर्यं न दृष्टमिह केनचित् । माता वात्सल्यमुत्सृज्य शापं पुत्रे प्रयच्छति
yama uvāca | tātaitanmahadāścaryaṃ na dṛṣṭamiha kenacit | mātā vātsalyamutsṛjya śāpaṃ putre prayacchati
യമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“പിതാവേ! ഇത് മഹാ അത്ഭുതം; ഇവിടെ ആരും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല—മാതാവ് വാത്സല്യം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് സ്വന്തം പുത്രനോട് ശാപം നൽകുന്നത്।”
