रुद्ररूपी विश्वरूपी स एव भुवनेश्वरः । पौर्णमास्यामुपोषित्वा ब्रह्माणं जगतां पतिम् । अर्चयेद्यो विधानेन सोऽश्वमेधफलं लभेत्
rudrarūpī viśvarūpī sa eva bhuvaneśvaraḥ | paurṇamāsyāmupoṣitvā brahmāṇaṃ jagatāṃ patim | arcayedyo vidhānena so'śvamedhaphalaṃ labhet
അദ്ദേഹം രുദ്രരൂപനും വിശ്വരൂപനും—അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ഭുവനേശ്വരൻ. പൗർണ്ണമിയിൽ ഉപവസിച്ച് വിധിപൂർവ്വം ജഗത്പതി ബ്രഹ്മാവിനെ അർച്ചിക്കുന്നവൻ അശ്വമേധഫലം പ്രാപിക്കും।
