ईश्वर उवाच । अथ पूजाविधानं ते कथयामि समासतः । भक्तिभेदान्पृथक्तस्य ब्रह्मणो बालरूपिणः
īśvara uvāca | atha pūjāvidhānaṃ te kathayāmi samāsataḥ | bhaktibhedānpṛthaktasya brahmaṇo bālarūpiṇaḥ
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിനക്കു സംക്ഷേപമായി, സർവ്വത്തിൽനിന്നും വ്യതിരിക്തനായ ആ പരബ്രഹ്മന്റെ ദിവ്യ ബാലരൂപാരാധനാവിധിയും, ഭക്തിയുടെ വ്യത്യസ്ത ഭേദങ്ങളും വേർതിരിച്ച് പറയുന്നു।
