यच्छ्रुत्वा मानवो देवि मुच्यते सर्वपातकैः । ये केचित्सागरांतायां पृथिव्यां कीर्तिता द्विजाः
yacchrutvā mānavo devi mucyate sarvapātakaiḥ | ye kecitsāgarāṃtāyāṃ pṛthivyāṃ kīrtitā dvijāḥ
ഓ ദേവീ! ഇത് ശ്രവിച്ചാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ സർവ്വപാതകങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു മോചിതനാകും. സമുദ്രാന്ത ഭൂമിയിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധരായ ഏതു ദ്വിജന്മാരുണ്ടോ—അവരുടെ മഹിമ ഇതിൽ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു.
