गोभिः सार्द्धं व्रजंत्यत्र गोष्ठे च निवसंति ये । पंचगव्यरसा ये वै गोपालास्ते तु साधकाः
gobhiḥ sārddhaṃ vrajaṃtyatra goṣṭhe ca nivasaṃti ye | paṃcagavyarasā ye vai gopālāste tu sādhakāḥ
ഇവിടെ പശുക്കളോടൊപ്പം സഞ്ചരിച്ച് ഗോഷ്ടത്തിൽ വസിക്കുകയും പഞ്ചഗവ്യരസങ്ങളാൽ മാത്രം ജീവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവർ—അവർ ‘ഗോപാല’ സാധകർ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു।
