भूतानामग्रभुग्विप्रो वर्णश्रेष्ठः पिता गुरुः । न स्कन्दते न व्यथते न विनश्यति कर्हिचित्
bhūtānāmagrabhugvipro varṇaśreṣṭhaḥ pitā guruḥ | na skandate na vyathate na vinaśyati karhicit
ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ജീവികളിൽ അഗ്രഭാഗം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നവൻ; വർണങ്ങളിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ, പിതാവും ഗുരുവും. അവൻ ഒരിക്കലും ധർമ്മസ്ഥിതിയിൽ നിന്ന് സ്ഖലിക്കുകയില്ല, വ്യഥിക്കുകയില്ല, നശിക്കുകയുമില്ല।
