ईश्वर उवाच । मनसा चिन्तयित्वैवं कृष्णो नारदमब्रवीत् । नह्यहं श्रद्दधाम्येतद्यदेतद्भाषितं पुरा
īśvara uvāca | manasā cintayitvaivaṃ kṛṣṇo nāradamabravīt | nahyahaṃ śraddadhāmyetadyadetadbhāṣitaṃ purā
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഇങ്ങനെ മനസ്സിൽ ചിന്തിച്ച ശേഷം ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ നാരദനോടു പറഞ്ഞു: ‘പണ്ടുകാലം മുതൽ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞതിനെ ഞാൻ സത്യമെന്നു വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല.’
