Transliteration

tasyāṃ hi gomatīsnānaṃ dviṣaṅgodāvarīphalam | avagāhitā prayatnena siṃhāṃte gautamī sakṛt

Translation

ആ അവസരത്തിൽ ഗോമതിയിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ ഗോദാവരിയിലെ പുണ്യത്തിന്റെ ഇരട്ടഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു. സിംഹത്തിന്റെ അവസാനം പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ ഗൗതമിയിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ മാത്രം മുങ്ങി സ്നാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ അതേ ഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
