ദ്വാരകാമാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ പോകുന്നവർ ഇടുന്ന ഓരോ പടിയിലും—പാദധൂളികണങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിനനുസരിച്ച്—സഹസ്ര യാഗങ്ങൾക്കു തുല്യമായ പുണ്യം ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്നു.
