स दृष्ट्वा सिंधुनाऽश्वास्यमानां विश्वस्य मातरम् । अवतीर्य श्रुतकथो बोधयामास नारदः
sa dṛṣṭvā siṃdhunā'śvāsyamānāṃ viśvasya mātaram | avatīrya śrutakatho bodhayāmāsa nāradaḥ
സമുദ്രം ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന വിശ്വമാതാവിനെ കണ്ടു, വൃത്താന്തം കേട്ട നാരദൻ അവതരിച്ചു അവളെ ഉണർത്തി ഉപദേശിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി।
