dṛṣṭvā someśvaraṃ devaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ yadi na paśyati | yātrāphalaṃ na cāpnoti vadatyevaṃ svayaṃ śivaḥ
Śiva
Tirtha: Someśvara (as a darśana-point) and Dvārakā (as completion)
Type: temple
Listener: Pilgrims/seekers (implied)
Scene: A pilgrim stands before a Śiva shrine labeled Someśvara, then turns toward the distant Dvārakā Kṛṣṇa temple; above, Śiva appears as a speaking witness declaring the rule of pilgrimage fruit.
A pilgrimage is considered complete only when its central divinity—here Kṛṣṇa at Dvārakā—is directly sought and seen.
Dvārakā, with reference to Someśvara and the necessity of Kṛṣṇa-darśana.
Darśana of Kṛṣṇa is prescribed as necessary to gain yātrā-phala (pilgrimage merit).
