भद्रकर्णस्तु तं दृष्ट्वा दानवं तदनंतरम् । पतंतं संमुखस्तस्य तिष्ठतिष्ठेति चाब्रवीत्
bhadrakarṇastu taṃ dṛṣṭvā dānavaṃ tadanaṃtaram | pataṃtaṃ saṃmukhastasya tiṣṭhatiṣṭheti cābravīt
ഭദ്രകർണ്ണൻ ആ ദാനവനെ കണ്ടയുടൻ, പാഞ്ഞുവരുന്നവന്റെ മുന്നിൽ നേരിട്ട് നിന്നു—“നിർത്തു, നിർത്തു!” എന്നു വിളിച്ചു।
