Tirtha: Koṭitīrthas of Arbuda (three principal)
Type: kund
Listener: King (Rājan)
Scene: Three principal sacred bathing spots (Koṭitīrthas) depicted as radiant pools/ghats, surrounded by many subsidiary springs and shrines; pilgrims bathing as dark ‘sins’ dissolve into light.
The text amplifies the tīrtha’s power by describing it as a convergence of many sacred fords, aimed at universal purification.
Koṭitīrtha (in a triad form) within the Arbuda region.
Not directly here; purification is stated as the fruit, with bathing prescribed in the next verse.
