वागुवाच । नो त्वं गौतमि चित्याग्नौ प्रवेशं कर्तुमर्हसि । दोषो नास्ति तवात्रार्थे तीर्थस्यास्य प्रभावतः
vāguvāca | no tvaṃ gautami cityāgnau praveśaṃ kartumarhasi | doṣo nāsti tavātrārthe tīrthasyāsya prabhāvataḥ
ആകാശവാണി അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ ഗൗതമീ, നീ ചിതാഗ്നിയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കേണ്ടതല്ല. ഈ കാര്യത്തിൽ നിനക്കൊരു ദോഷവും ഇല്ല; ഈ തീർത്ഥത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭാവം കൊണ്ടാണ് ഇത് സംഭവിച്ചത്.
