Transliteration

tadā kāmo drutaṃ gṛhya puṣpacāpaṃ tamabhyagāt | kandarppaṃ sahasā dṛṣṭvā sandhiteṣuṃ sudurjayam

Translation

അപ്പോൾ കാമദേവൻ വേഗത്തിൽ പുഷ്പചാപം എടുത്ത് അവന്റെ സമീപത്തേക്ക് ചെന്നു. സഹസാ ബാണം സംധിച്ച, ദുർജ്ജയനായ കന്ദർപ്പനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ (ശിവൻ ചലിച്ചു).
