ततो निद्राभिभूतस्य सारमेयो जहार च । भक्षयामास युक्तोऽन्यैः सारमेयैर्बुभुक्षितः
tato nidrābhibhūtasya sārameyo jahāra ca | bhakṣayāmāsa yukto'nyaiḥ sārameyairbubhukṣitaḥ
അപ്പോൾ നിദ്രയിൽ മുങ്ങിയിരുന്ന അവന്റെ ആഹാരം ഒരു നായ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടുപോയി. വിശപ്പോടെ അത് മറ്റു നായകളോടൊപ്പം ചേർന്ന് അതു തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
