किं निमित्तं सुरश्रेष्ठ न जानीमो वयं प्रभो । तेषां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा चिरं ध्यात्वा पितामहः
kiṃ nimittaṃ suraśreṣṭha na jānīmo vayaṃ prabho | teṣāṃ tadvacanaṃ śrutvā ciraṃ dhyātvā pitāmahaḥ
“ഹേ സുരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ഇതിന് കാരണമെന്ത്? ഹേ പ്രഭോ, ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ല.” അവരുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് പിതാമഹൻ (ബ്രഹ്മാവ്) ദീർഘനേരം ധ്യാനിച്ചു।
