praviṣṭā bhayasaṃtrastāḥ pātālaṃ jīvitaiṣiṇaḥ | tato deva gaṇāḥ sarve vasavo maruto'śvinau

ഭയത്തിൽ വിറച്ച്, ജീവൻ മാത്രം തേടി അവർ പാതാളത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് വസുക്കൾ, മരുത്തുകൾ, ഇരുവരായ അശ്വിനികൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ എല്ലാ ദേവഗണങ്ങളും (ഒന്നിച്ചു ചേർന്നു).
