पपात महती चोल्का निहत्य रविमंडलम् । अपसव्यं मृगाश्चक्रुस्तस्य मार्गे नृपोत्तम
papāta mahatī colkā nihatya ravimaṃḍalam | apasavyaṃ mṛgāścakrustasya mārge nṛpottama
ഒരു മഹാ ഉല്ക സൂര്യമണ്ഡലത്തെ അടിച്ചതുപോലെ വീണു. ഹേ നൃപോത്തമാ, അവന്റെ വഴിയിൽ മൃഗങ്ങൾ അപസവ്യമായി—ഇടത്തോട്ടു—ചലിച്ചു।
