मुद्गल उवाच । पतनस्य भयं यत्र पुण्यहानिर्न वर्द्धनम् । तेन स्वर्गेण मे दूत नैव कार्यं कथंचन
mudgala uvāca | patanasya bhayaṃ yatra puṇyahānirna varddhanam | tena svargeṇa me dūta naiva kāryaṃ kathaṃcana
മുദ്ഗലൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദൂതാ! എവിടെ പതനഭയം ഉണ്ടോ, എവിടെ പുണ്യം ക്ഷയിച്ചു വർധിക്കാതെയോ, അത്തരം സ്വർഗ്ഗം എനിക്ക് യാതൊരു വിധത്തിലും ആവശ്യമില്ല।
