विष्णुरुवाच । अनंतस्याप्रमेयस्य देवदेवस्य शूलिनः । नाहं शक्तः परं पारं गंतुं ब्रह्मन्कथंचन
viṣṇuruvāca | anaṃtasyāprameyasya devadevasya śūlinaḥ | nāhaṃ śaktaḥ paraṃ pāraṃ gaṃtuṃ brahmankathaṃcana
വിഷ്ണു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ ബ്രഹ്മൻ! അനന്തനും അപ്രമേയനും ആയ ദേവദേവൻ, ത്രിശൂലധാരിയായ ആ പരമേശ്വരന്റെ പരമപരിധി ഞാൻ എങ്ങിനെയും എത്തിച്ചേരാൻ കഴിയില്ല.
