शक्र उवाच । शृणु यस्मान्मया रोधः कृतो वृष्टेर्हुताशन । देवापिर्नाम धर्मज्ञः क्षत्रियाणां यशस्करः
śakra uvāca | śṛṇu yasmānmayā rodhaḥ kṛto vṛṣṭerhutāśana | devāpirnāma dharmajñaḥ kṣatriyāṇāṃ yaśaskaraḥ
ശക്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ ഹുതാശന, ഞാൻ മഴ തടഞ്ഞതിന്റെ കാരണം കേൾക്കുക. ദേവാപി എന്നൊരു പുരുഷൻ ഉണ്ട്— ധർമ്മജ്ഞൻ, ക്ഷത്രിയരുടെ യശസ്സിനെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നവൻ।
