ब्रवीच्चार्बुदं नागं वरं वरय सुव्रत । परितुष्टोऽस्मि ते भद्र कर्मणानेन पन्नग
bravīccārbudaṃ nāgaṃ varaṃ varaya suvrata | parituṣṭo'smi te bhadra karmaṇānena pannaga
അവൻ അർബുദ നാഗനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ സുവ്രത, ഒരു വരം തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക. ഹേ ഭദ്ര പന്നഗ, ഈ കർമ്മംകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ പ്രസന്നനാണ്.”
