तत्रैका गौः परिभ्रष्टा स्वयूथात्तृणतृष्णया । कपिलेति च विख्याता स्वयूथस्याग्रगामिनी
tatraikā gauḥ paribhraṣṭā svayūthāttṛṇatṛṣṇayā | kapileti ca vikhyātā svayūthasyāgragāminī
അവിടെ പുല്ലിനുള്ള വിശപ്പും ദാഹവും മൂലം സ്വന്തം കൂട്ടത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരു പശു തെറ്റിപ്പോയി അലഞ്ഞു. അവൾ ‘കപിലാ’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധ, കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ അഗ്രഗാമിനിയായിരുന്നു।
