निहत्य दानवान्संख्ये कृत्वा स्नानं सुनिर्झरे । विष्णुः प्राक्षालयत्तोयं तेन तन्मेध्यतां गतम्
nihatya dānavānsaṃkhye kṛtvā snānaṃ sunirjhare | viṣṇuḥ prākṣālayattoyaṃ tena tanmedhyatāṃ gatam
യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദാനവന്മാരെ വധിച്ച ശേഷം വിഷ്ണു മനോഹരമായ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത്, അവിടെയേ ആ ജലത്തിൽ പ്രക്ഷാളനം ചെയ്തു; അതിനാൽ ആ ജലം മേധ്യത എന്ന ശുദ്ധി പ്രാപിച്ചു.
