अहमत्र महाष्टम्यां निवेक्ष्यामि महामते । ये च स्नानं करिष्यंति संप्राप्ते चाष्टमीदिने । ते यास्यंति परं स्थानं यत्राहं नित्यसंस्थितः

Transliteration

ahamatra mahāṣṭamyāṃ nivekṣyāmi mahāmate | ye ca snānaṃ kariṣyaṃti saṃprāpte cāṣṭamīdine | te yāsyaṃti paraṃ sthānaṃ yatrāhaṃ nityasaṃsthitaḥ

Translation

ഹേ മഹാമതേ, മഹാഷ്ടമിയിൽ ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ സന്നിധാനമാകും. അഷ്ടമിദിനം വന്നപ്പോൾ ഇവിടെ സ്നാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവർ, ഞാൻ നിത്യമായി വസിക്കുന്ന പരമസ്ഥാനത്തെ പ്രാപിക്കും.
