अव्यक्ताः परमत्रासाद्ध्यायंतस्ते च संस्थिताः । पंचाग्निसाधकाः केचित्तत्र व्रतपरायणाः

avyaktāḥ paramatrāsāddhyāyaṃtaste ca saṃsthitāḥ | paṃcāgnisādhakāḥ kecittatra vrataparāyaṇāḥ

പരമ ഭയഭക്തിയാൽ അവർ അവ്യക്തരായി, ലോകവ്യവഹാരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വിരക്തരായി ധ്യാനത്തിൽ ലീനമായി അവിടെ നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. അവരിൽ ചിലർ വ്രതപരരായി പഞ്ചാഗ്നി-സാധന ചെയ്യുന്ന തപസ്വികളായിരുന്നു.
