तस्य दुःखं तथा क्षिप्रं गौतमाय निेवेदितम् । गौतमेन तथेत्युक्त्वा मृदुवाण्या स भाषितः
tasya duḥkhaṃ tathā kṣipraṃ gautamāya niेveditam | gautamena tathetyuktvā mṛduvāṇyā sa bhāṣitaḥ
അവൻ തന്റെ ദുഃഖം വേഗത്തിൽ ഗൗതമനോട് അറിയിച്ചു. ഗൗതമൻ “തഥാസ്തു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് മൃദുവചനങ്ങളാൽ അവനോട് സംസാരിച്ചു.
