तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा ततो दूतमुवाच तम् । गत्वेमं ब्रूहि देवेशं मम वाक्यादसंशयम् । अहं संवत्सरस्यांत आगमिष्यामि तेंऽतिके
tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā tato dūtamuvāca tam | gatvemaṃ brūhi deveśaṃ mama vākyādasaṃśayam | ahaṃ saṃvatsarasyāṃta āgamiṣyāmi teṃ'tike
അവന്റെ വാക്ക് കേട്ട ശേഷം അദ്ദേഹം ആ ദൂതനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“പോയി ദേവേശനോട് എന്റെ വാക്ക് സംശയമില്ലാതെ അറിയിക്ക; ഒരു വർഷത്തിന്റെ അവസാനം ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരും.”
