अजास्तास्तं च संवीक्ष्य व्याघ्रं रौद्रवपुर्द्धरम् । अजापालं समुद्दिश्य संत्रस्ताः शरणं गताः
ajāstāstaṃ ca saṃvīkṣya vyāghraṃ raudravapurddharam | ajāpālaṃ samuddiśya saṃtrastāḥ śaraṇaṃ gatāḥ
ആ ഭീകരരൂപധാരിയായ പുലിയെ കണ്ട ആടുകൾ ഭയന്ന്, അജാപാലനെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി ഓടിച്ചെന്ന് അവന്റെ ശരണം പ്രാപിച്ചു.
