anena karasaṃsthena tava kopaḥ kathaṃcana | na yāsyati śarīrasthastasmādenaṃ parityaja
Munis of the kṣetra (addressing Paraśurāma)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Close focus on Paraśurāma’s clenched hand gripping the axe; sages point gently to the hand, indicating the link between grasping and anger; the background remains serene to heighten contrast.
External symbols (like weapons) can preserve inner anger; renunciation supports inner peace and purification.
The counsel is delivered in the Adhyāya 94 holy region (kṣetra) being praised in the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya.
A practical dharmic instruction: abandon the weapon as part of cultivating śama (tranquility).
