उपवासपरो भूत्वा यश्चैनां पूजयिष्यति । आश्विनस्यासिते पक्षे चतुर्दश्यां विशेषतः
upavāsaparo bhūtvā yaścaināṃ pūjayiṣyati | āśvinasyāsite pakṣe caturdaśyāṃ viśeṣataḥ
ഉപവാസനിഷ്ഠനായി ഈ ദേവിയെ പൂജിക്കുന്നവൻ—പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ആശ്വിന മാസത്തിലെ കൃഷ്ണപക്ഷ ചതുര്ദശിയിൽ—വിശേഷ പുണ്യം പ്രാപിക്കും।
