अथास्वाद्य तृणं तस्मात्तृषार्ता च शनैःशनैः । पपौ तोयं सुविश्रब्धा सुस्वादु क्षीरसंनिभम्
athāsvādya tṛṇaṃ tasmāttṛṣārtā ca śanaiḥśanaiḥ | papau toyaṃ suviśrabdhā susvādu kṣīrasaṃnibham
അതിനുശേഷം ആ പുല്ല് രുചിച്ചിട്ട്, ദാഹാർത്തയായ ആ പശു പതുക്കെ പൂർണ്ണവിശ്വാസത്തോടെ ആ ജലം കുടിച്ചു—രുചിയിൽ മധുരം, പാലിനോട് സാമ്യം।
