शांडिल्युवाच । मम वक्त्रं समालोक्य स्मितं चक्रे जनार्दन । स्त्रीनिंदा विहितानेन स्वमत्यापि जगद्गुरो

ശാണ്ഡില്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ജനാർദന, അവൻ എന്റെ മുഖം നോക്കി പുഞ്ചിരിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ഹേ ജഗദ്ഗുരോ, സ്വന്തം കുമതിയാൽ അവൻ സ്ത്രീനിന്ദയുടെ ദോഷം ചെയ്തു.
