garuḍa uvāca | tava tejobhayādeva sā kanyā janakānvitā | mayā dūre vinirmuktā tatkathaṃ tāmihānaye

ഗരുഡൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നിന്റെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ ഭയത്താൽ തന്നേ ആ കന്യയെ പിതാവോടുകൂടെ ഞാൻ ദൂരെയായി വിട്ടയച്ചു; പിന്നെ ഞാൻ അവളെ ഇവിടെ എങ്ങനെ കൊണ്ടുവരും?
