। अथ सुपर्णाख्यमाहात्म्यं भविष्यंति । ऋषय ऊचुः । यदेतद्भवता प्रोक्तं तेजोवीर्यसमन्वितः । गरुडस्तेन संजज्ञे मुनीनां होमकर्मणा

Transliteration

| atha suparṇākhyamāhātmyaṃ bhaviṣyaṃti | ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | yadetadbhavatā proktaṃ tejovīryasamanvitaḥ | garuḍastena saṃjajñe munīnāṃ homakarmaṇā

Translation

ഇപ്പോൾ ‘സുപർണ’ എന്ന മഹാത്മ്യം പറയുക. ഋഷികൾ പറഞ്ഞു—തേജസ്സും വീര്യവും സമന്വിതനായ ഗരുഡൻ മുനിമാരുടെ ഹോമകർമ്മത്തിലൂടെ ജനിച്ചു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞത് ഞങ്ങൾ വ്യക്തമായി കേൾക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
