न जानाति हतं वृत्रं वज्रघातेन तेन तम् । केवलं वीक्षते मार्गं वृत्रागमनसंभवम्
na jānāti hataṃ vṛtraṃ vajraghātena tena tam | kevalaṃ vīkṣate mārgaṃ vṛtrāgamanasaṃbhavam
ആ വജ്രാഘാതത്തിൽ വൃത്രൻ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടുവെന്ന് അവൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല; വൃത്രൻ വരുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയിൽ ആ വഴിയേ മാത്രം നോക്കി നിൽക്കുന്നു.
