वृत्र उवाच । यावत्तिष्ठति सुत्रामा तावन्नास्ति सुखं मम । तस्मान्निष्कंटकार्थाय यतिष्येऽहं द्विजोत्तम
vṛtra uvāca | yāvattiṣṭhati sutrāmā tāvannāsti sukhaṃ mama | tasmānniṣkaṃṭakārthāya yatiṣye'haṃ dvijottama
വൃത്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സുത്രാമാ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) നിലനിൽക്കുന്നിടത്തോളം എനിക്കു സുഖമില്ല. അതിനാൽ കണ്ഠകങ്ങൾ (വൈരികൾ) നീക്കാൻ ഞാൻ പരിശ്രമിക്കും, ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമാ।
