इन्द्र उवाच । जानाम्यहं चतुर्वक्त्र स्वं कायं पापसंयुतम् । चिह्नैर्ब्रह्मवधोद्भूतैस्तस्माच्छुद्धिं वदस्व मे
indra uvāca | jānāmyahaṃ caturvaktra svaṃ kāyaṃ pāpasaṃyutam | cihnairbrahmavadhodbhūtaistasmācchuddhiṃ vadasva me
ഇന്ദ്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ചതുര്മുഖാ! എന്റെ ശരീരം പാപബന്ധിതമാണെന്നും, ബ്രഹ്മവധത്തിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന ലക്ഷണങ്ങളാൽ അടയാളപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു. അതിനാൽ ശുദ്ധിയുടെ മാർഗം എനിക്ക് പറയുക।
