सूत उवाच । नास्माकं विभ्रमो जातो युष्माकं तु द्विजोत्तमाः । परं यत्कारणं कृत्स्नं तद्ब्रवीमि निबोध्यताम्
sūta uvāca | nāsmākaṃ vibhramo jāto yuṣmākaṃ tu dvijottamāḥ | paraṃ yatkāraṇaṃ kṛtsnaṃ tadbravīmi nibodhyatām
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമന്മാരേ, എനിക്കൊരുവിധ ഭ്രമവും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല; സംശയം നിങ്ങളിലാണ് ഉദിച്ചത്। അതിന്റെ സമ്പൂർണ്ണവും യഥാർത്ഥവുമായ കാരണം ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു—ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേട്ട് ഗ്രഹിക്കൂ।
