पथिक उवाच । अस्ति कान्तीपुरीनाम पुरंदरपुरी यथा । सुस्थितैः सेविता नित्यं जनैर्धर्मव्रतान्वितैः
pathika uvāca | asti kāntīpurīnāma puraṃdarapurī yathā | susthitaiḥ sevitā nityaṃ janairdharmavratānvitaiḥ
പഥികൻ പറഞ്ഞു—‘കാന്തീപുരി’ എന്നൊരു നഗരം ഉണ്ട്, പുരന്ദരൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) നഗരത്തെപ്പോലെ; അവിടെ ധർമ്മവ്രതങ്ങളാൽ യുക്തമായ സ്ഥിരജനങ്ങൾ നിത്യവും വസിച്ച് സേവിക്കുന്നു.
