sūta uvāca | tacchutvā kauravāḥ sarve paraṃ harṣamupāgatāḥ | tathā pāṃḍusutāścaiva ye cānye tatra pārthivāḥ
Sūta (narrator)
Scene: Sūta narrates to an audience; in a royal hall, Kauravas, Pāṇḍavas, and other kings brighten with joy at the Lord’s decision to go to the kṣetra.
When a holy journey and sacred installation are affirmed by the Lord, even rulers are uplifted into shared joy and collective dharma.
The verse continues the chapter’s praise of the intended kṣetra; it highlights the community response rather than naming the site.
No ritual detail here; it records the joyful assent to the planned pilgrimage and liṅga establishment.
