अथ कैलासमासाद्य यावद्यांति भवांतिकम् । निषिद्धा नंदिना तावन्न गंतव्यमतः परम्

പിന്നീട് കൈലാസത്തിലെത്തി ഭവൻ (ശിവൻ) സമീപത്തേക്ക് നീങ്ങുമ്പോൾ, നന്ദി അവരെ തടഞ്ഞു—“ഇതിനു അപ്പുറം പോകുവാൻ പാടില്ല” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
