पितर ऊचुः । पितृतर्पणजा गर्ता त्वया येयं विनिर्मिता । रामह्रद इति ख्यातिं प्रयास्यति जगत्त्रये
pitara ūcuḥ | pitṛtarpaṇajā gartā tvayā yeyaṃ vinirmitā | rāmahrada iti khyātiṃ prayāsyati jagattraye
പിതൃകൾ പറഞ്ഞു—പിതൃതർപ്പണത്തിൽ നിന്നുണ്ടായ ഈ ഗർത്തം നീ നിർമ്മിച്ചതാണ്; ഇത് ത്രിലോകങ്ങളിലും ‘രാമഹ്രദം’ എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധി പ്രാപിക്കും।
