यंयं काममभिध्यायञ्छुक्लाष्टम्यां नरः शुचिः । तां पूजयति सद्भक्त्या स तमाप्नोत्यसंशयम्
yaṃyaṃ kāmamabhidhyāyañchuklāṣṭamyāṃ naraḥ śuciḥ | tāṃ pūjayati sadbhaktyā sa tamāpnotyasaṃśayam
ശുദ്ധനായ മനുഷ്യൻ ശുക്ലപക്ഷ അഷ്ടമിയിൽ ഏത് ഏത് ആഗ്രഹം ധ്യാനിച്ച് ആ ദേവിയെ സദ്ഭക്തിയോടെ പൂജിക്കുന്നുവോ, അവൻ അത് സംശയമില്ലാതെ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
