परिक्षीणोऽस्मि विप्रेंद्र क्षयव्याधिप्रभावतः । तस्मात्कुरु प्रतीकार महं त्वां शरणं गतः
parikṣīṇo'smi vipreṃdra kṣayavyādhiprabhāvataḥ | tasmātkuru pratīkāra mahaṃ tvāṃ śaraṇaṃ gataḥ
'ഹേ വിപ്രേന്ദ്രാ! ക്ഷയരോഗത്തിന്റെ കാഠിന്യത്താൽ ഞാൻ അങ്ങേയറ്റം ക്ഷീണിതനായിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാൽ ഇതിനൊരു പരിഹാരം നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചാലും—ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ ശരണം പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.'
