ततः सर्वान्समाहूय स विप्रान्पुरसंभवान् । प्रोवाच कौरवो भीष्मो विनयावनतः स्थितः
tataḥ sarvānsamāhūya sa viprānpurasaṃbhavān | provāca kauravo bhīṣmo vinayāvanataḥ sthitaḥ
അനന്തരം അവൻ നഗരത്തിലെ എല്ലാ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരെയും വിളിച്ചു കൂട്ടി. പിന്നെ വിനയത്തോടെ നമിഞ്ഞ്, ആദരപൂർവ്വം നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് കൗരവ ഭീഷ്മൻ അവരോട് പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.
