तथान्या धेनवो याश्च संस्थिता गोकुलांतिके । शृण्वंतु वचनं मह्यं कुर्वंतु च ततः परम् । अद्याहं निजयूथस्य भ्रमंती नातिदूरतः
tathānyā dhenavo yāśca saṃsthitā gokulāṃtike | śṛṇvaṃtu vacanaṃ mahyaṃ kurvaṃtu ca tataḥ param | adyāhaṃ nijayūthasya bhramaṃtī nātidūrataḥ
‘അതുപോലെ ഗോക്കുലത്തിനടുത്ത് നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന മറ്റു പശുക്കൾ എന്റെ വാക്ക് കേട്ട് അതനുസരിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിക്കട്ടെ. ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വളരെ ദൂരെയായി അലഞ്ഞുതിരിയുകയില്ല।’
