ततः प्रभातसमये प्रोद्गते रविमंडले । मृतोऽहं क्षुधयाविष्टः स्थानेऽत्रैव द्विजोत्तमाः
tataḥ prabhātasamaye prodgate ravimaṃḍale | mṛto'haṃ kṣudhayāviṣṭaḥ sthāne'traiva dvijottamāḥ
പിന്നീട് പ്രഭാതസമയത്ത് സൂര്യമണ്ഡലം ഉദിച്ചപ്പോൾ, ക്ഷുധയാൽ ആകുലനായ ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ തന്നേ ഈ സ്ഥലത്ത് മരണപ്പെട്ടു—ഹേ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരേ!
